I am a historian, teacher, and author whose work explores Christianity's encounter with the political and economic developments of the modern world. 

My work has been featured in The New York Times, the Washington Post, and Christianity Today, and my first book—God's Marshall Plan—appeared in 2021 with Oxford University Press.

Presently, I am writing Heavenly Exchange—a new history of American political economy and religion.
